한국어This Privacy Policy describes how Sogumpapa (“we”, “us”) handles information collected through the Chekam mobile application (“the App”). The App does not require account registration or login, and we do not collect any identifying account information.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Location Data (required for core feature)
- Type: Precise (latitude/longitude) or approximate device location
- When: Only while the App is in the foreground. We do not collect background location.
- Method: Through Android Location APIs, only after you grant location permission
1.2 User Preferences (stored locally)
- Type: Perceived-temperature adjustment, display units, notification preferences
- Storage: Stored only on your device. Not transmitted to any server operated by us.
1.3 Diagnostic and Crash Data
- Type: Crash logs, device model, OS version, app version, stack traces at crash time
- Collected by: Firebase Crashlytics
- Purpose: Improving app stability and fixing bugs
- Identifiability: Does not contain information that directly identifies you
2. How We Use Information

3. Third-Party Services

4. Data Retention
- Location: Discarded at the end of the app session. We do not store location data.
- User preferences: Kept on your device until you delete the App.
- Diagnostic data: Handled per Firebase Crashlytics' default retention (up to 90 days).
5. Your Rights
- Revoke location: Device Settings → Apps → Chekam → Permissions
- Delete preferences: Use in-app reset or uninstall the App
- Stop diagnostic collection: Uninstall the App (no in-app opt-out is provided)
If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, you may also have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Since the App does not store personal data on our servers, most data deletion is fulfilled by uninstalling the App.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Security
- All third-party API traffic is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS).
- API keys are injected at build time and never stored in plaintext in source code.
- We do not operate our own backend server, structurally eliminating server-side breach risk on our end.
8. Changes to This Policy
We will post any changes to this policy on this page. Material changes may also be communicated through an in-app notice.
